Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

A client was applying for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). However, before the application process could be completed, the immigration board had asked for corresponding documentation. We submitted the required documents, but for some reason, the immigration board said that they did not receive them and closed our case. Our company immediately responded to this predicament, and through this hard effort we were able to open the case again. We reviewed the documentation and were able to rectify the mistakes. After that, the client was able to obtain the nomination from the program without any further problems.

Post Graduation Work Permit

A student was applying for the post-graduation work permit, but according to the rules of the work visa, only the last semester of their schooling could be part-time. This student was enrolled in a part-time program in the middle of schooling, so they were refused. Fortunately, they found us and we were able to successfully help them apply for their visa with a few adjustments.

SK PNP Entrepreneurship Program

The client was rejected by BC PNP entrepreneurship program, visitor visa transfer, study permit, and the visitor record. Through us, they were able to successfully apply to the SK PNP entrepreneurship program instead.

Common In Law Sponsorship

The applicant’s study permit was expiring within 3 months, and their guarantor was traveling abroad. The dilemma was that the applicant had to complete a paper application submission within 1 week. They were a 23 years old student who had not attended school for 2 years. Meanwhile, their guarantor was 25 years old and studying at a university, but was suspended for 1 year during their study period. Their guarantor was planning to return to school, and had a part-time job with an annual income less than 500k. They were not engaged; they had no marriage plan, no marriage photos, no income, and both parties’ parents had never met . Finally, through a detailed examination, we found evidence of their contact through social media, and were able to use it as proof to provide to the government.  The applicant obtained their identification in about 1.5 years. (during this period, both their visitor status and transfer to work permit were rejected.)

Difficulties

  • The applicant’s study permit would expire in 3 months, and the guarantor was scheduled to travel abroad. We have to compress in a week in order to complete the paper application and submit it.

  • Guarantor was still a student, and did not have any income.

  • The applicant had a 5 years STUDY PERMIT but only studied 2 years of  ESL, and never returned to school again.

  • There was no engagement / wedding plan, no wedding photos, no banquet reservation receipts, and neither of their parents had met.

  • On the guarantor’s personal social media, there were very few posts about the applicant that could be shown as proof of their relationship.

Edit their relationship history

 Advantage

An extra advantage we had was that the applicant started immigration consulting 1 year beforehand, and after our guidance, the applicant realized they needed to keep the evidence.

The relationship between the applicant and the guarantor could be instead verified through the social media posts of the applicant’s classmates and friends.

SINP INTERNATIONAL SKILLED WORKER

The applicant had not returned to China for more than 2 years due to the epidemic, and the ID card unfortunately expired. Domestic institutions did not allow the applicant’s family members to apply for their ID nor let them file a criminal record check for the applicant. Therefore, the client could not apply for a recent Chinese criminal record check, and could only submit an expired criminal record (dated approximately 9 years back) before leaving China. Recently through our company, the client was able to provide further proof and a more thorough explanation on their application. The verification was then passed, and an email to log in to PR PORTAL was obtained. The client had applied for the SINP INTERNATIONAL SKILLED WORKER program in June 2019 for a provincial nomination. The application was submitted to the Federation in August and instigated in July 2021. The applicant did not return to China within 2 years because of the epidemic, and his ID card expired. He could apply for an up to date criminal record check in China, and could only submit the expired criminal record check before going abroad (about 9 years ago). Through our company, we were able to obtain adequate proof and verification.

Problem

  1. ID expired, the local department does not allow parents to represent applicant to renew;
  2. Criminal record expired, cannot apply for the recent criminal record;
  3. Due to the pandemic, the applicant was not able to conveniently return to China and handle it personally
  4. The period to provide any supplementary materials was only 30 days long.

Solution

1. We provided a Chinese translation of the entry and exit records as proof of the client’s travel, emphasizing that they had been abroad for 9 years, each visiting time was for a short period (less than 180 days). Combined with a criminal record from 9 years ago, we explained the status of none criminal of the applicant.
